Just because it's (almost) Christmas...

...and at Christmas you tell the truth:
let me say
without hope or agenda

and just in case the Mayas' predictions for Friday 21/12/12 come true

Let's make another try ;-)

5 hours waiting at Frankfurt's airport, on my way back from Greece, were enough to make me think of new beginnings...and returning to my attempt of expressing my thoughts and feelings via blogging.

Frankfurt: a city that I haven't visited but which became a significant "station" of my life.
But that's all it was proved to be: an intermediate station not a destination.

As unease as I initially felt for having to spend all these hours in the airport (that seemed the only option when we reached the snow covered German territory few minutes after 5pm local time) these hours were not that wasted in the end.
After wondering around the corridors of my mind, confused by the memories, the images of the past and whoever Frankfurt was connected to in my state of mind, I started noticing the Christmas decorations, the tasty-looking sweets and my eyes stopped at a book: Who moved my cheese?
How funny indeed...even the title reminded me of a (not that funny) joke that someone that I used to know was saying, but which had to do with a burger(μου κλέψανε το μπιφτέκι) rather than cheese!

How can a small book make you change the perspective of things? By the same way someone else's decision can change your way of thinking-trusting-loving I guess.

"Who moved my cheese" by Spencer Johnson: highly recommended to anyone that has to deal with changes in his/her life.

And here's a song to remind me my 2012 resolution (gia na min 3exniomaste-excuse my Greeklish): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5rCducwW2Q

To new beginnings λοιπόν...
